Administrative Team

Connie joins us with a business administration background.  She began her operations career leading a team of 10 customer service / billing representatives with PennCorp Financial and moved to Lulu Enterprises during a high growth period, building their Customer Service department from one representative to seventeen over an eighteen month period.  Connie’s approach to operations starts with a focus on clients where quality of service is a top priority.  When it comes to people, she believes effective communication is key, and strives to create a positive and motivating environment developing strong relationships.

Connie received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from NC State Poole College of Management and her MBA from Meredith College.

Darien is a recent graduate from UNC Wilmington where she majored in Theatre Performance and minored in Creative Writing. Having served as an Executive Producer, Talent Assistant, Study Abroad Ambassador, and student organization President while in school, she is well versed in connecting with students and succeeding in project management. Her employment history involves Guest Relations and Assisting Accounting at a 4 star beach resort for a total of 3 years. Darien started with NC State over the summer as a temporary employee and has been hired as a full time member of the pack as of January. She is very excited to work with this team and help students take advantage of all the Career Management Center has to offer.
