Sr. Professional, Business Process Analysis
Position Description Overview
Fiserv’s Internal Consulting group is focused on improving the operations of Fiserv business teams by providing detailed and comprehensive analysis to drive fact-based decisions, optimize resource allocation, and enhance processes and outcomes for our shareholders and clients. Internal Consulting projects operate under the direction of Fiserv Executive Leadership and include process improvement reviews, work effort analysis, and service delivery enhancements.
Senior Professionals are part of the core Fiserv Internal Consulting group and responsible for supporting multiple projects simultaneously to help business teams improve efficiency and operational excellence. Senior Professionals act both as individual contributors and as support members of larger project teams. The work includes close collaboration with a variety of functions and business teams across Fiserv, project management, data and information analysis, solution implementation, and generation of project results. Senior Professionals will have exposure to all levels of Fiserv management, from business team leadership to executive firm leadership.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate must have exceptional initiative and be driven by process excellence. Key responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively within and across Fiserv business teams
- Partnering with business team management to understand how functions are performed today
- Gathering key documents (e.g., org charts, process flows, reports) and conducting structured and unstructured analysis of available data
- Conducting time and motion studies to observe the processes being executed
- Identifying opportunities to enhance processes and tools to optimize how the function is performed in the future
- Synthesizing facts, findings, and recommendations into high-impact executive reports for presentation to Senior Management
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of work experience (consultancy type engagement experience preferred)
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Strong experience in logic-based problem solving, root cause analysis, and solution implementation
- Mastery of analytical and presentation tools (Excel, PPT, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Ability to travel to key US regional sites: 10 – 20% of time
Degrees
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Business major/concentration or MBA preferred
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
