Anne Luke

Hi everyone! My name is Anne Luke and I am excited to be one of your Peer Coaches here at NCSU. I am currently a 2nd year in the Jenkins Program with a concentration in Finance. I am also enrolled at Campbell Law School just down the road with the dual JD/MBA program. This summer I am interning with First Citizens Bank as a Risk Analyst. I am hoping to combine the legal and financial aspects of Risk and pursue a career in Corporate Law within the banking industry. I attended NC State for my undergraduate degree where I studied Supply Chain Operations in the Poole College of Management. I have been in Raleigh for a little over 6 years now. Please feel free to reach out to me with any and all questions about NC State or the Raleigh area in general!
Ariel Shulman

My name is Ariel Shulman and I am a rising second year in the Jenkins MBA program. I am originally from West Virginia, but my family has been living in South Carolina the past 5 years. Prior to getting my MBA at NC State, I attended Marist College for undergrad where I received my degree in international business and pre-law. I was also a student athlete at Marist, having the opportunity to play on the division 1 women’s tennis team. Over the summer I have been interning for the fortune 1, Walmart, where I joined their adult beverage team as a merchandising operations intern. I have learned a great deal about the retail industry and hope to return upon completing my MBA. The Jenkins program and the CMC has been so supportive throughout my journey, and I am very excited to join their team as a peer coach for the 2020-2021 school year. This program has opened so many opportunities for me and my career, and I’m very excited to be apart of the support team for the incoming first year class.

Katherine Jetton
Peer Coach

Hi my name is Katherine and I’m a second year at NC State’s Jenkins School of Business and HiTEC Scholar. I graduated from the University of Virginia with honors in Sociology and Psychology. I participated in Teach For America in Dallas, Texas where I taught middle school science. Texas was too hot so after that I moved to Chicago and worked for Morningstar , a financial data and software company. Chicago was too cold, so I moved to Raleigh where it’s just right. I was a Product Manager for a startup making leak detection software for the Oil and Gas industry. This summer I will be interning for EY as a Tax Technology and Transformation consultant. I plan on concentrating in Marketing Management and Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization.

Yen Tran
Americas Regional Supply Chain Intern

I graduated with Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2015 in Vietnam. I then worked for three plus years for a medical device company in various functions including Regulatory Affairs, Product Management and Supplier Management. In 2017 I moved to the US and started my MBA journey in the Fall of 2019. My concentration is Supply Chain and Finance Management. Over the summer I have been working as America’s Supply Chain Intern with Biomerieux, a French company based in Durham. Biomerieux is a provider of diagnostic solutions. Half my time at Biomerieux is spent supporting the routine tasks of demand management and the remaining time is spent working to build a risk assessment tool. Working in a cross-cultural team setting has afforded me the opportunity to increase my knowledge and skills, as well as improve my international intelligence.
