Preparing students for real-world innovation.
NC State students learn by doing. The mission of the Jenkins MBA Supply Chain Club is to build upon the lessons learned in the Jenkins MBA’s nationally ranked Supply Chain curriculum with valuable hands-on experiences.
The Supply Chain Club gives graduate students a practical understanding of how supply chain management impacts operations across all disciplines through learning opportunities that immerse you in the real world and prepare you to compete in today’s global marketplace.
Who We Are: The graduate Supply Chain Club provides educational and networking events to enhance the supply chain MBA experience, and expose students to professional development opportunities in the industry.
The club is managed by graduate students who work closely with faculty, alumni, industry experts, and the local chapters of the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) and National Association of State Procurement Officials(NASPO), to explore networking opportunities, forward thinking topics, tackle real-world challenges and gain vital career building skills and advice from expert professionals.
What We Do: We help graduate students take supply chain skills beyond the classroom by connecting them with the corporate community. Each activity is planned by students, for students, with the end-goal of helping you launch a successful career in mind.
Plant Tours – We arrange tours with local supply chain facilities to help you see supply chains in action and identify a career niche within the field.
Supply Chain Simulation & Case Competitions – Students work on end-to-end supply chain challenges drawn from real-world experiences, then present solutions that enhance and test their supply chain knowledge.
Professional Networking – We invite guests from ASCM, ISM, NASPO and other professional societies to share industry-related information, and connect students with business leaders in the community and across the globe.
Find Your Career Niche
