Case Competition Club

The Case Competition Club was established to support Jenkins MBA students as they prepare for national and international case competitions. What exactly is a case competition? Case competitions are school-sponsored events that bring together teams from universities across the globe to contend for a cash prize. These competitions provide students with an opportunity to apply classroom learning to solve real-world business problems. In addition to being an excellent learning experience,  as students work toward improving teamwork, problem-solving and public-speaking skills, Case competitions also offer a chance to network with business professionals and fellow MBA students. The ultimate goal of the MBASA Case Competition Club is to prepare Jenkins MBA students to compete in and win the numerous case competitions in which we participate each year.  All first-year students are automatically enrolled as a member in the Case Competition Club. The first meeting and participation in the mini-case challenge are required. This is our way to determine how students will be selected and assigned to represent NC State at case competitions throughout the year.
