Job Details:
This position is part of the International Finance Team and will be responsible for various accounting and finance activities for the International Business Unit. Essential functions of this position are: provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requests for the International BU; provide financial reporting support for 10Q and 10K reporting requirements; review/process monthly intercompany billings and wire requests for International Operations; Balance Sheet Reconciliation review; assist in training local teams on Tyson Corporate policies and procedures, leveraging technology (PowerBI, Advanced Excel, and Enterprise Performance Management system, MS Teams, Blackline, etc.) and other financial reporting tasks associated with the month-end and quarter-end close process. Position will also be responsible for supporting internal control processes and complete appropriate SOX requirements. Successful candidates will have an ability to manage/analyze large volumes of data, troubleshoot issues, make corrective actions, and effectively communicate to management. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and system skills. Must possess strong prioritization, organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders.
Other essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: Assist in managing the BUs Financial Fitness and capital activities, including evaluating and reporting out monthly results. Assisting with other quarter-close activities and special projects. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with various levels in the organization and being a champion of Tyson’s mission, core values, and team behaviors (the 5 Cs) are critical

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. MBA preferred
Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in accounting related experience. Public accounting or corporate consolidations experience preferred. Demonstrated success in roles requiring strong analytical and systems skills. Must possess the ability to streamline internal processes along with having strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills required, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders
Computer Skills: Requires strong computer skills; must have working ability with Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook, PowerBI and MS Teams; working knowledge of typical general ledger and accounting software packages preferred; SAP experience is highly preferred.
Special Skills: MBA or CPA candidate preferred. Ability to work with a diverse group of people across various levels, functions, and locations.
Travel: 1-3 trips per year
