thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas is currently seeking an experienced Manager – Financial Reporting in Atlanta, GA
The Manager, Financial Reporting is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of varying consolidated financial data and managerial key performance indicators for management and governmental agencies and oversees the processes and procedures to achieve desired results.
The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards and financial reporting guidelines, analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. Collaboration and leadership required with the global business area, business units and operating units on reporting and budgeting process needs.
Essential Job Functions
- Supervise, develop, coach and provide guidance for Sr. Financial Analyst
- Responsible for providing management with timely & accurate operational reporting packages consisting of financial data and varying managerial key performance indicators while utilizing the Oracle EPM reporting application
- Thorough understating of foreign exchange reporting and CTA adjustments
- Validate accuracy of data reported in global SAP reporting application
- Liaise with global BA & private equity management to research and analyze issues
- Prepare executive management presentations
- Oversee process for aligning SAP and EPM reporting platforms
- Works with Oracle EPM Cloud Administrator to improve and maintain data migration process from EPM to SAP platform
- Research new IFRS pronouncements and coordinate implementation with Accounting Team
- Develop quarterly/annual financial reporting for varying audiences (tax, audit, state contractor licenses, SEC, etc.)
- Provide supporting financial documentation for customer quotations
- Assist with merger and acquisition requests as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA required
- 5+ years with emphasis on audit and financial reporting utilizing IFRS standards
- 2+ years supervision
- Utilization of consolidation reporting systems
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements for multi-organizational structure
- Ability to prepare quarterly and annual SEC reporting
- Experience using Hyperion HFM, Oracle Financial Consolidation Close Service (FCCS), or Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS)
- Sound knowledge of IFRS standards
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and communicate concise results
- Experience preparing executive management presentations
- Excellent communication skills across all levels the organization
- Make routine decisions in accordance with policies and procedures
- A high level of initiative and drive. Maintain a sense of urgency and overall ownership of projects and duties
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to plan and complete assignments within deadlines
- Follow complex oral and written instructions
- Able to prepare and present complex written and oral reports
- Ability to perform standardized and statistical computations
- Develop key relationships with business leaders
