POSITION PURPOSE
The Sr Analyst, Online Merchandising Concepts will be responsible for driving the strategy, operations and reporting for homedepot.com’s Pro Special Buy of the Week and Décor of the week programs, as well as supporting the pursuit of new, innovative, and strategic selling concepts, site features, and functionalities.
This individual will work with Online Merchants and other cross-functional team members including Pro Experience/Marketing, Pricing, Site Experience, IDM and Supply Chain to curate and execute new themed promotions each week specifically for our Pro customer base as well as supporting the assortment curation, onboarding, and strategy for our HD Subscriptions program. The Sr Analyst, Online Merchandising Concepts will be responsible for determining and prioritizing initiatives across teams to drive customer site experience enhancements and improved marketing coverage for both programs. This individual will also perform business analysis and develop KPI reporting to ensure sales and profitability of the programs are in line with strategic and financial plans.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
40% – Manage planning and day to day operations for the Pro Special Buy of the Week and HD Subscriptions programs
30% – Conduct and present analysis to project teams and online merchants to inform the strategic customer experience enhancement roadmap for the programs and any new strategic selling initiatives pursued by the team
20% – Measure business performance via execution of key weekly and monthly reporting; seek out opportunities to continuously improve automated reporting efforts
10% – Assist with business case development for expansion into new online merchandising concepts/ capabilities

May require management of project work teams and ability to provide information necessary to meet work, project, or program objectives

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: 4 years
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent work experience in retail, merchandising, or a consulting/ project management role in a corporate environment, preferred
- Demonstrated ability with business modeling capabilities using tools such as SQL, Excel, Access, and Tableau and advanced proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs
