Position Summary
A key component of this role would be data analytics in support of all transactional data associated with the Shared Service centers. The role will be responsible for key metric dashboard creation across the accounting disciplines of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, fixed assets, inventory – and all other accounting related business lines of gaming, lottery, and digital.
Essential Job Functions:
Strong data analytics; handles large volumes of data and interpreting into usable root cause issues that can be work to resolution
Creation of Key Metrics / SLA reporting in easy to use dashboards
Supports all leadership levels within the global centers in daily duties, as well as their long-term goals
Reviews analysis of inter-company transactions and resolves outstanding issues, in addition toinvolvement with the consolidation to factor in quality analytics
Develops and implements methods for automated processes
Prepares support for internal and external auditor requests
Performs responsibilities in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls
Provides all information and supporting detail to supervisor for review and approval
Supports Senior Staff Accountants in daily duties in terms of properly assessing the process side oftheir businesses, as well as their long-term goals
Performs other duties as assigned
Training and/or Experience:
Minimum of three to four years of manager-level data analytics experience with multi-division company
Must have experience with Microsoft Power BI and Incorta data analytics platforms
Hands on experience with established accounting systems and migrating multi-platform data into a single usable data source for business decisions
Experience in tools like Alteryx, SQL, Tableau or Microsoft GI preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively – written or orally
Must have good computer skills and knowledge
Must have multi-tasking experience and abilities
Must be flexible on work schedule to meet defined goals within peak periods
Must be able to effectively communicate at both the lowest and highest levels in the organization
Must be detail oriented and well organized
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
CPA or MBA is preferred, but not required
