ROLE SUMMARY
This is a role within GBS Financial Services & Compliance and will be part of the FS&C Treasury and Intercompany Operations group. TIO has approximately 170 colleagues located across our regions managing liquidity, foreign exchange, banking (and related intercompany); product, services and transfer pricing settlements; and intercompany financing as part of a global process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operations are delivered in accordance with current process design architecture with a focus on optimizing liquidity, managing the banking infrastructure, developing and maintaining relationships with banking partners, and supporting engagement with regulators where required across the region.
This role will report to the Manager, Treasury Operations.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for daily and monthly liquidity management processes for Canada and Latin America markets.

Prepare cash forecasts and insights.

Ensure all funding requirements are actioned on a timely basis.

Active management of local bank accounts, optimizing balances.

Ensuring money market deals and FX transactions are executed where required.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with market Treasury and Finance colleagues, banking partners and others.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other GBS Towers and key stakeholders such as Corporate Treasury, Global Tax, and other functions where required.

Maintain bank account documentation with partner and local banks to include opening/closing requirements, signatories’ updates, KYC etc.

Manage Treasury Accounting transactions.

Participate as needed in Treasury and Intercompany Operations related initiatives, projects and programs.

Ensure adherence to all Treasury’s SOX internal controls.

Maintain internal control documentation.

Focus on continuous improvement in order to improve efficiencies and grow value-add opportunities.

Manage queries and provide advice and technical support, including training, both internally and externally.

Represent the Treasury function on cross functional teams.

Keep up to date with all Treasury technical developments internally and externally.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Bachelors degree in business, finance or accounting; a professional accountancy qualification, MBA or other post graduate professional finance qualification is a plus.

3+ years’ experience in Treasury, Cash Management or Banking.

Good knowledge of Treasury Accounting.

Experience working with a Treasury management system and SAP preferred.

Experience in managing relationships with banking partners and other external parties.

Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective management of relationships within GBS and Pfizer.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Fluency in English and Spanish is a prerequisite; Portuguese also beneficial.

Team player who is self-motivated and delivers quality work in and exciting and time-pressured environment.

Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change.
The successful candidate should expect possible travel to other Pfizer sites (Corporate and Operational) and external partner locations depending on organization and project activities.
