WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our office in Portland, Oregon! This role will be essential in helping to execute the Global Nike Marketing Men’s strategic priorities, including building investment frameworks and financial plans that support our overall Men’s business. We are seeking a candidate who has strong finance acumen, strategic attitude, and ability to influence key partners. This person will be a self starter, stay organized, and be proactive.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will be working with key partners to develop our marketing investment strategy across all our Men’s construct. You will be partnering closely with the Global Marketing to understand strategic priorities and direction, and be able to translate that into a financial plan. You will build a financial analysis to resolve how we should prioritize our spend, in an effort to reach strategic goals. You will analyze worldwide Marketing financials & associated metrics, and develop insights for improved financial performance/return on investment. You will also communicate financial plans to key partners across Marketing and Finance.
You will also work on and help lead ad-hoc projects. For these projects, you will help scope the work, drive the financial and strategic analysis, and communicate findings / insights with key partners. You will also support as needed the process of building financial forecasts and analyzing current and historical trends.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Senior Director, Global Marketing Finance. You will be engaging and working closely with Global Marketing, Global Business Planning, Geography Marketing Finance, and Consumer Construct Finance & Strategy. You will also be working closely within the Global Marketing Finance team to ensure portfolio alignment.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or closely related field
5+ years’ experience in corporate financial planning and analysis, strategic planning or budgeting/forecasting
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills and experience with influencing stakeholders
Fortune 500 corporate finance, public accounting, investment banking, and/or management consulting a plus
Experience in consumer products or retail industries a plus
Advanced degree (MBA) a plus
Systems experience (SAP, Tableau) a plus
