Summer Executive Associate Program

Within M&T’s culture, the Executive Associate (EA) program exemplifies the flexible career and leadership opportunities desired by MBAs. EAs have formal roles and real responsibility from day one. This is not a rotational program, but rather a performance-based training ground for future senior level managers. EAs are expected to immediately contribute to M&T’s continued growth and success. Throughout the first year, the incoming class will learn about M&T’s philosophy and business principles in a series of intensive seminars. Along the way, you’ll be introduced to EA program alumni, top executives, and can expect a professional network that spans all levels of the company. Successful EAs have come from a wide variety of backgrounds and can apply for virtually any function within the bank, so we strongly encourage all concentrations and career switchers to apply.

Functions

The Summer EA internship is essentially a spring board into the full-time EA opportunity.  As such each Summer EA is provided with EA level projects and evaluated based on their performance and perceived level of contribution to the organization.  Although each intern is hired for a specific department and project, each will also have ample opportunity to learn about, network with, and ultimately interview for various divisions throughout the 10 weeks.  Internships are available throughout many functional areas of the Bank, including:

·       Finance

·       Digital Product Management

·       Strategy & Analytics

·       Strategy & Operations

·       Relationship Management

Minimum Qualifications

  • MBA degree candidates from top MBA programs, record of academic excellence
  • 2 or more years of work experience, demonstrated leadership ability
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Visa sponsorship not provided for this position
