You will perform detailed finance work, transactions and data structuring under the guidance of the Finance Manager. You will collect data, be responsible for maintaining information integrity, monitor reconciliations and conduct basic checks and controls.
How you will contribute
You will:

Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelēz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks

Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies

Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director)

Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement

Job description
The Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial Finance, Sales role is responsible for reporting, budgeting, forecasting and tracking/validation support for Sales Overhead Team NA. This role will be working very closely with Senior Leadership in Sales and Finance.
This individual will play an important leadership role by providing key financial insight that will help drive actuals, financial forecasts, and operating plans. The Senior Analyst, will be proactive, instill best practices and develop strong processes.
Strong capabilities to work across the organization will be an integral part of this role. Intellectual horsepower and top-notch financial skills are crucial in this role.
The successful candidate will report to the Associate Director of Commercial Finance, and will be based in East Hanover, NJ. This is a key financial role created to strengthen the commercial finance organization. Mondelez International has a culture of career progression and is seeking high potential candidates who have significant upward potential in the organization.
Key accountabilities for this role include:
Understand and improve the budget, forecasting and annual operating plan processes and utilize this opportunity to provide better analytics to drive business performance.

Validate and provide insightful analysis of actual results to assess performance and drive future decisions to support FY projections.

Identify future opportunities and/or problems, and articulate strong and clear positions based facts and working with cross functional team.

Assimilate, organize and digest large amounts of data.

Form collaborative relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying and responding effectively.

Should be able to quickly learn the required Systems (SAP, CMT, Smartview pull).
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required, MBA preferred
-
3 or more years of financial experience required
-
Experience in FIT, HFM and ESSBASE is preferred
-
Experience in planning and reporting processes (Month and Quarter end, Forecasts, Annual Contract, etc.)
