The Senior Specialist position has responsibility for the sustainment of the Above Market Financial processes.
This includes the Financial Planning Process done at the Regional and HQ level as well as the Actuals Close and Consolidation process.
Within this role, the position will use their accounting/finance knowledge to gain a greater understanding of the end-to-end Accounting to Reporting Process, Financial Planning Process and the process surrounding Master Data Management of Financial Data.
The incumbent will gain exposure and work closely with SAP BPC, specifically BRIDGES and PLANIT, which is used for global and local forecasting, budgeting and management reporting.
The candidate will also again exposure to such tools Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Data Management (FDM), Financial Tool Kit (FTK) and the Financial Sharing Area (FSA).
The successful candidate will administer the BPC applications and work closely with the local and global users to ensure the applications support the ongoing business processes. The candidate will be responsible for loading results during the actual close, opening and closing forecast cycles, working with the Master Data Management team to maintain hierarchies, providing support to end users, and managing user security.
The candidate will work on on-going production items as well as new initiatives such as upgrades and enhancements. Familiarity will be gained through the support of the BPC Technical Support mailbox; managing the critical process and system changes.
Education Minimum Requirement:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA or CPA preferred.
Required Experience and Skills:
Greater than 3 years relevant business experience, with some exposure to process/systems implementations, financial consolidation or financial reporting and planning. Strong skills, aptitude and experience with financial reporting software tools.
