Full Job Description

The Solutions Consultant I reports to the Director, Solutions Consulting as a member of the MUSC Information Solutions Consulting Team. Under limited supervision, the Solutions Consultant I provides client facing business relationship management services to MUSC executive leaders and teams, as a secondary liaison to Information Solutions’ service offerings. As a member of the business relationship management team, the Solutions Consultant I partners with Solutions Consultant team to ensure accurate management of business demand. This role also partners with Information Solutions (IT, Informatics, and Analytics) teams to understand and accurately document service offerings and capabilities. The Solution Consultant I supports the functional requirements of maintaining an effective Functional Governance flow, acts as an engagement manager on projects, and plays a critical role in the evaluation of outcomes and continual service improvement. The Solutions Consultant I executes routine evaluations for satisfaction and for potentially enhancing capabilities.

Minimum Training and Education: Bachelor’s degree, in either a clinical or business discipline (finance, information systems, statistics, informatics, etc.) from an accredited college/university required; Master degree in a relevant discipline (MBA, MHA, etc.) preferred. One year experience in consulting, healthcare, or IT, informatics, and/or analytics is required. Experience and/or certification(s) related to Business Relationship Management, ITIL, Organizational Change Management and/or Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Business Relationship Management certification required within one year.

(Infrequent) Ability to lift from 36 inches to overhead 15 lbs. (Infrequent) Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes. (Continuous) Ability to see and recognize objects at a distance (Continuous) Ability to match or discriminate between colors. (Continuous) (Selected Positions) Ability to determine distance/relationship between objects; depth perception. (Continuous) Ability to maintain hearing acuity, with correction.
