Job Purpose
Will serve as a member of the Sales Operations Team and use strong analytical skills to drive deep insight to a wide range of business support projects and ongoing support activities. Will be an internal & external data expert positioned to work with key partners across multiple functional and business areas. Insights and findings from analysis will be used to influence and drive LPs business strategies and tactics. Plays a key role in supporting LPs value-based management culture.
Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and timely sales, financial, market, industry trend, and activity information primarily to the sales department.

Prepare sales, budget, rebate and Return on Investment reports; perform general trend analysis and forecasts.

May participate in creating forecasting guidance, ROI, and metrics to measure success of programs.

Develop and implement standardized analysis methodologies and assures compliance with all corporate financial policies.

Research, collect, and assimilate information for presentation to management team.

Design and develop standard periodic reporting formats.

May participate in and coordinate the annual budget development process for assigned group; assist senior management in preparation for presentation to budget committee.

May provide coordination and guidance for sales compensation platforms

Work closely with Corporate, Regional, and various Accounting staff in researching and collecting data.

Work on special projects that arise from audits, studies, strategic initiatives, etc.

May support management of activities for selected business interns in the Sales Operation group

Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge of current financial accounting concepts and methods.

Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

LSS and MBA a plus.
Experience:
-
Minimum 3-5 years financial analysis or accounting experience, or any combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

Knowledge of forest products and/or building industry a plus.

Experience with SAP, BI, Power BI, Office365, and Salesforce.com preferred.

Knowledge of value-based management concepts such as Economic Profit, Intrinsic Value, and Total Shareholder Return preferred.
