Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Services is the global leader in providing managed infrastructure services. An important part of the IBM Services portfolio is its Managed IaaS offerings. IBM is seeking an Offering Manager to drive go-to-market activities for the Private Cloud IaaS portfolio. Delivered “as-a-Service” (including hardware, software and managed services), this offering is the basis for multiple types of clients: New clients looking for a highly automated private cloud; existing IBM clients’ that are transforming their managed infrastructure to a feature rich private cloud, and distributed cloud clients who want to use public cloud applications on their premises. This Offering Manager will develop and execute go to market and product marketing strategies, including defining routes to market, developing and delivering sales enablement materials and training, researching and establishing a competitive offering posture, developing client collateral, managing digital sales, and measuring results of those activities.
In this role as a Go-To-Market Offering Manager you will…
Assess market competition, provide competitive updates and establish the offering’s strategic differentiation
Help develop the end-to-end user experiences across a variety of applications targeted for a variety of personas
Convey market direction, emerging partner/customer needs, features, and functional requirements, from which, product, UX Design and engineering teams can design and implement new capabilities.
Use data, partner/customer feedback, and market intelligence to drive decisions.
Establish and manage to KPIs including Revenue, profitability, NPS, and user adoption
Define and prioritize requirements in a hybrid Agile-based development environment, based on business unit priorities
Establish sales enablement content and present, using sales tools and demonstrations, to customers, partners and business leaders
Work with partners and vendors to expand potential business development, increase efficiency, and ensure offering quality
Collaborate with a dynamic extended team including engineering, finance, service delivery, marketing, support, operations and other offering managers

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Skilled in participating in technical and business discussions.
Success in working with others, demonstrating a balance of leadership, autonomy, and collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on concise and clear writing
Experienced in building solutions pulling together multiple entities to achieve a business plan
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in Product Management
Experience in public cloud services (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba)
Familiarity with Agile development methodology
Knowledge of the cloud infrastructure (IaaS) market – technologies, vendors, and competitive landscape

This position currently sits within Global Technology Services (GTS) Infrastructure Services (IS) or a shared services function supporting GTS.
As announced in October 2020, IBM intends that its managed infrastructure services business of the GTS organization will become an independent company named Kyndryl by the end of 2021, creating two distinct and powerful market-leading companies.
