General Role Overview:
Fisker Inc is looking for an experienced Investor Relations Manager who will lead the execution of Fisker’s global investor relations program in collaboration with the Vice President of Treasury and Investor Relations. The primary objectives of the IR program are to educate and update investors, prospective investors, and security analysts about the company and to inform the company’s leadership on these key stakeholders’ perspectives. The manager’s responsibilities will include financial analysis, market intelligence, monitoring of stock trading, investor targeting, coordination of investor engagement, and preparation of investor communication materials. The incumbent will interact regularly with senior management, legal counsel, FP&A, Treasury, Accounting and the Corporate Communications teams to articulate the Company’s strategic direction and financial position.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Educates and updates investors and analysts on the company, its strategy, financial results and prospects in a balanced way

Draft reports, presentations, news releases, and other company materials for quarterly earnings releases, industry events, and other investor meetings

Analyze sell-side research and financial models to drive insights for company leadership.

Research, track, and summarize competitor and market sector information and lead analyses on competitive industry information and strategies.

Respond to questions and requests for information from investors, sell-side analysts, and others.

Identify and build relationships with investors, prospects, and sell-side analysts.

Collaborate closely with Fisker’s corporate communications teams to ensure a consistent message on branding and strategy.

Develop investment themes and communicate key initiatives to the financial community.

Schedule conference calls, webcasts and managing in-person interaction with the investment community during investment conferences, roadshows, site visits, and investor day events.

Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree (MBA or CFA preferred) in Business/Finance.

5+ of experience in capital markets (research, sales, or banking) or investor relations.

Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills.
-
Great interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
-
An energetic, efficient, and resourceful team player and individual contributor.
-
Ability to engage with senior leadership and the investment community.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies:
-
Knowledge of the automotive or tech industries.
-
Familiarity with GAAP accounting, financial reporting, and US securities regulations
-
Demonstrated ability to think strategically yet tactically evaluate and implement initiatives.

Proficient use of Microsoft Excel in complex financial analyses and MS Office suite of products

Strong attention to detail; advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

Strategic planner and prepared communicator
-
Ability to develop strategy, processes, policies from the ground up.

Ability to work in a fast paced, nimble start up environment.

Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, as required
Expected Salary Range: $67,000.00-$187,000.00 a year.
Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker’s equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
