Work you’ll do:

As a Deloitte Global Clients and Industries (GC&I) Senior Consultant, you will help Deloitte’s top senior leaders solve their toughest problems and help them take advantage of their most significant market opportunities. You will be a thought partner, bringing an independent point of view and collaborating with a team that offers unparalleled career development opportunities and access to leadership. You will apply a market-lens and rigorous, fact-based, quantitative and qualitative strategic analysis to drive meaningful insights for GC&I, to support our client-facing leadership around the globe with differentiated strategies.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Bringing a strategic mindset and structured approach to problem solving, driven by intellectual curiosity

  • Identifying client and marketplace issues, determining industry sector and ecosystem evolution, providing analysis to formulate strategic segment and sector choices, and defining implications including potential course corrections to our GC&I strategies and go-to-market and internal operating models

  • Conducting rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis using the appropriate tools and technology, external and internal research using primary and secondary sources

  • Informing analytical frameworks to identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex business problems

  • Communicating your ideas with poise to stakeholders through effective written and oral communication

  • Managing workstreams and prioritizing deliverables with self-direction and a commitment to quality

  • Investing in the professional development of yourself and your team members with enthusiasm

Required:

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, or 2 years of experience plus MBA or other advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Bachelor’s degree with analytical or quantitative focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated knowledge of strategy development and competitive strategy; project experience working with client segmentations and / or client portfolios
  • Comfort with ambiguity and an ability to frame structured approaches
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills: ability to synthesize large sets of data and integrate into meaningful reports and recommendations
  • Strong quantitative skills, particularly building complex Excel models
  • Proven ability to think critically, outstanding attention to detail
  • Diplomacy, maturity, and empathy are all key attributes for success

Other Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the professional services industry or in a strategy role specifically in Customer Strategy & Applied Design or Strategy & Analytics
  • Experience with Tableau, databases, or other relevant tools
