Who You Are:
You are an experienced Analyst who has extensive knowledge in data and business analytics with the ability to articulate recommendations and results to our clients. Your previous experience working in Tableau has prepared you to work with our Business Analytics teams and executive-level clients to understand, scope, and improve reporting and analyses in a retail environment and to help drive field activities and sales for world-class retail clients. Your ability to understand data mapping, ad-hoc data extraction, and custom queries to join data from various sources with complex and dynamic business logic will help you to excel in this role. You have used statistical techniques to analyze client and operational data to explain them to business audiences. You understand retail analytic concepts and techniques (eg. finding opportunities, making recommendations, analytics related to performance of product and promotion, current strategy within stores, and how to clearly explain them to a business audience).

What You Will Do:

Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and critique Tableau dashboards

Analyze client and operational data

Maintain and develop reporting tools

Ensure high level of accuracy and quality in all efforts

Use retail analytics concepts and techniques, determine additional business opportunities, make market expansion recommendations and measure product sales performance and promotion effectiveness

Use statistical techniques to analyze client and operational data and know which to use, when they are appropriate, and how to clearly explain them to a business audience

Work with the Business Analytics team to fully understand business problems and design solutions to meet their needs

Utilize competitive information benchmarking and understand strategic implications

Excellent project management, organizational, and client-facing skills

Maintain and develop dashboards

Ad-hoc, trend, and market retail industry business analysis

Power point presentation using analyzed data

What You Will Need:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Finance, or Data Analytics. MBA degree is preferred

3-5 years working experience in analytics with Tableau or Excel database environment
-
Previous experience in retail sales or manufacturing analytical work
-
Previous CE (Consumer Electronics) or CPG (Consumer Product Group) experience is a plus

Strong analytical and conclusion skills with ability to articulate conclusive resolutions

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Tableau (eg, clear understanding of data blending, joins, calculated fields, parameters, and creating dashboards with end users in mind)

Intermediate to advanced Excel (eg, power pivot tables, vlookups, nested and array formulas; SQL is a plus)

Experience with relational databases

Strong oral and written English communication skills

Stellar attention to detail with strong organizational skills, and comfort working in a dynamic, fast paced environment
