Corel is all about breaking convention to achieve exceptional things. We’re the people behind the world’s leading software and we’re obsessed with finding new ways to harness the creativity of our customers and our employees. We’re a talented, eclectic, and eccentric group that makes coming to work every day worth your while. This is not your typical tech team.

Experience Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Accounting, Finance or equivalent), MBA preferred

  • Minimum 5+ years of related work experience

  • Experience in the software / high tech industry is preferable including a global scope with omni-channel models pursuing 2-tier distribution and e-Commerce channels

  • Advanced Excel modeling skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, advanced lookup and reference functions), experience with multi-file model links across a file server (i.e. SharePoint)

  • Experience with relational databases and SQL scripting (joins, pivoting, aggregates)

  • Experience with ERP and business analytics technologies including NetSuite and Tableau (cross-tabs and visualization, custom formulas, and fields, multi-source data reporting & analysis)

  • Strong communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships and collaboration with senior internal stakeholders

  • Attention to detail with ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic work environment

  • Work well in high pressure situations

  • Self-starter with ability to work both independently and co-operatively on a team

  • Curiosity about information flows and data relationships, seeing and solving “the puzzle”, able to explain the solution/cause/effect

  • Ability to independently identify issues, crisply articulate findings, propose, and drive solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Support annual planning, quarterly re-forecasting and long-term strategic planning processes for bookings and revenue, partnering with global sales leadership to provide insights on risks and opportunities as well as strategic issues and assumptions

  • Build and maintain scalable, sustainable financial models to forecast global bookings and revenue across multiple products and channels (multi-dimension)

  • Support the global revenue reporting process, providing analysis on historical and projected financial performance to support effective decision-making, engaging with stakeholders to ensure relevant business drivers are modeled to capture product and go-to-market (GTM) strategies

  • Build and maintain dashboards for various reporting cadences (daily, weekly, monthly) to track revenue funnel metrics, understanding and explaining variances for reference in the monthly and quarterly executive reviews

  • Collaborate on structure, cadence, timing, bottoms-up data hierarchies and core processes for FP&A planning, forecasting and reporting

  • Develop scenario-based financial models that help drive value and predictability, seeking to optimize financial performance across various business scenarios

  • Collaborate with Product, Data Analytics and Pricing teams on data strategy and reporting hierarchies, ensuring alignment on definitions and KPIs

  • Drive model automation and design efficiencies through use of SQL and multi-file data connectivity

  • Support M&A and integration efforts, including due diligence and integration of acquired companies into the forecasting and reporting framework, process and timelines
