Full Job Description
Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Financial Analysis assignments/projects within Rebate FP&A. Responsible for coordinating, conducting, and documenting rebate financial analysis projects or rebate financial reporting. Presents results and recommendations to management. Contributes to the development and improvement of financial analysis and forecasting analytical methodologies. Translates business need into technical specifications for systems matrix partners. May administer risk management and loss prevention programs to maintain maximum protection of the organization’s assets at the most economical rates. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Financial Analysis but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
Able to accurately reflect assumptions due to changing variables; utilizing historical metrics, trends, inputs from business partners to plan future outcomes; Able to create analysis and identify opportunities outside of standard tools independently supported by evidence, rationale, and methodology.
Ability to handle analysis from issue identification to proposal of solutions; Understands how external market variables (market conditions, competitive environment, regulatory changes) impact pricing, revenue, and cost.
Ability to identify BOB metrics and key drivers; Ability to identify opportunities and influence decision makers; Demonstrates understanding of market strategy and BOB performance.
Demonstrates organizational agility; Maintains list of key contacts and relationships throughout Enterprise – knows where and who to go to in order to accomplish a task; Develops relationships with key business partners in higher level positions in and out of Finance; Establishes supportive relationships with less experienced team members.
Viewed as a valuable resource and trusted advisor. Ability to independently make decisions on moderately challenging questions/issues; Demonstrates appropriate reach out to peers and management when obtaining input on decisions within their authority or on more complex issues; Ability to provide guidance when others seek their opinion.
Plans and Aligns
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, MBA preferred.
4+ years relevant experience in Finance, Business, Analytics, Operations, Technology.
Proficient with Excel (pivot tables/v-lookups/macros), Word, and other Office products.
Experience with these tools a plus: Tableau, Alteryx, SQL.
Familiarity with Hyperion Essbase a plus.
