ChampionX, has an immediate need for a Financial Analysis Manager in our Sugar Land, TX Location. In this role, you will: Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends. You will develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting, and you will aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes.

What You Will Do:
-
Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenses, and gross margin.

Monitor KPI, and identify the cause of any unexpected variances
-
Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast
-
Ad-hoc business performance reporting
-
Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various regions and sales districts

Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports
-
Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives
-
Support management team and functional leaders with data-driven analysis
Minimum Qualifications:
-
MBA or Master’s in Finance
-
4 years of business finance or other relevant experience Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics are preferred major fields, plus 2 years of supervisory experience

8 years of business finance or other relevant experience Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics are preferred major fields, plus 2 years of supervisory experience

Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role

Strong quantitative and analytical competency

Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
-
High proficiency with financial modeling and business planning including monthly financial performance analysis of Profit and Loss Statements, Cash Flow and Balance Sheets

Financial planning and analysis experience
-
Good business acumen and communication
-
Cross functional project coordination experience within a matrix business environment

Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
-
Working with financial statements, including profit and loss
-
Detailed understanding of managerial accounting principles.

Strong analytical and data gathering skills
-
Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
-
Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
-
Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
-
Experience working with and presenting to senior executives
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
-
Strong financial modeling experience
