JOB TITLE: Financial Analysis Manager – Global Excellence
LOCATION: 11177 Stadium Drive, Sugar Land, TX 77478
JOB DUTIES: Financial Analysis Manager – Global Excellence for ChampionX USA at its facility in Sugar Land, TX. Responsible for coordinating and documenting financial analysis projects and tracking synergy projects. Serves as the financial contact with outside firms. Directs a section or group of financial analysts. Conducts or participates in the most complex financial analysis projects. Provides advice and direction to less experienced financial analysts. Coordinates and overviews the annual planning, the mid-year reviews and monthly forecasting processes. Performs monthly “deep dive” analysis of divisional Gross Margins & Operating Expenses and develop recommendations to deliver financial objectives. Prepares and participates in month-end close calls with Corporate Finance & Accounting. Completes ad hoc financial analysis for senior leadership and business partners. Coordinates with divisional finance teams to provide sector financial support, including summarization and analysis of monthly results and forecasts and preparation of monthly executive sector presentations. Supports month-end close and accounting activities, along with other reporting/analysis activities for Energy divisions. Supports corporate initiatives and provide key finance project support for Chemical Technology divisions.
REQUIREMENTS: Master of Business Administration (MBA) and three (3) years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience in all of the following: Working in finance; Financial planning and analysis, business analysis, financial modeling and business planning; Cross functional project coordination experience within a matrix business environment; Advanced spreadsheet (Excel), graphics (Power Point) and ad hoc reporting skills, modeling to aid decision making; Working with financial statements, including profit and loss statements; Detailed understanding of managerial accounting principles.
