The Tax Analyst, US Reporting will assist with the preparation and review of US Federal and state tax returns including the calculation of supporting book to tax adjustments (schedule M’s), estimated payments and extensions. Lead federal and state tax special projects and carry out various tax research assignments. Support tax COEs in dealing with matters associated with US tax return filing positions and compliance with related information requests.
1.Prepare and review US Federal consolidated and separate legal entity pro forma tax returns including quarterly estimates, extensions and amended tax return filings
2.Support tax accounting by conducting monthly and quarterly close activities, including reconciliation of tax general ledger accounts, preparation of income tax provisions with reconciling items and identification of potential uncertain tax positions.
3.Serve as subject matter experts on various tax calculations (e.g. Fixed Assets, Leases, etc.) presented within the US consolidated tax return
4.Prepare state and local income and franchise tax returns
5.Perform special tax research projects such as understanding the implications associated with changes in tax law
6.Prepare reconciliation of adjustments with explanation from booked provision to filed tax returns
7.Team with Tax Risk COE to clarify positions taken within the tax return and prepare responses to examiner requests for information
8.Understand and comply with SOX regulations, internal controls and tax policies.

BA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
3 years experience in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm
CPA, CMI, or CAE preferred
MST or MBA a plus
