Real Estate Lending – IC1 Conducts research and analysis to support lenders and management with originating, underwriting, closing and monitoring of real estate loans. Assists more senior staff in underwriting and closing process for smaller and less complex loans. Supports all real estate loan components by providing research and analytical support and conducting Know-Your-Customer search and analysis. Assists lenders and management with monitoring existing loan portfolios, underwriting, and with any ad-hoc research required. Provides additional ad-hoc support activities not specific to loans, as needed. Works directly with other teams to gather data for research assignments. Assists with marketing and client presentation information/materials. Solves low risk problems of a routine nature within the context of established policies and procedures. Escalates complex problems to more experienced staff, as needed. No direct reports. Contributes to the achievement of team goals.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in finance or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. MBA is preferred. 0-3 years of total work experience preferred. Experience in real estate lending or commercial banking preferred.
