Location: Ireland – Remote
Converge, a subsidiary of Arrow Electronics, is seeking experienced Sales individuals to join our Account Management team to help us with our expansion plans. The role is sales focused and target driven. You will be responsible for securing new business and also maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers.
What You Will be Doing at Arrow?
Establishing relationships with key contacts at major customers in a business development role, including making customer visits.
Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, profiling and presenting Converge’s portfolio of solutions to new and named customers and their extended supply chain within target market(s) or geographies.
Utilize consultative selling skills to named accounts in the computing and electronics industry with global account management responsibility.
Manage and grow both existing accounts and new, major named accounts.
Sell complex, leading edge supply chain solutions into large global companies.
Achieve account development objectives, account acquisition goals, and revenue and gross profit production performance levels.
Responsible for collecting and recording account profile information, prepare prospect for conducting business, and channel new account to appropriate member within Sales/Service Department.
Closely working with Converge internal departments and Arrow for securing and maintaining business opportunities. Team and collaborate with other account managers assigned to your global account.
What Are We Looking For?
Proven ability to develop senior level business relationships.
Solid experience in direct sales, consultative sales, account management and/or supply chain consulting into high technology companies.
BA or BS in business, marketing or engineering or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
Track record of penetrating and growing business from accounts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Advanced problem solving and issue management skills.
Willingness to travel; driving license.
