Sr. Analyst – Business Management
Summary
The Sr. Analyst, Business Management role will play a key role in analyzing future commercial opportunities, strategic planning and competitive strategies. This position provides significant learning opportunities across the business development, marketing, pricing and finance functions at a global leader in the gaming industry as well as the opportunity to contribute to the team’s success on high-visibility, strategic projects. The role provides for robust learning and experience in pricing strategy, business development, business cases and the gaming industry in general.
What you’ll do
-
Provides research and analysis expertise for commercial activities (i.e. market intelligence, data analysis etc.), including the creation and management of spreadsheets and presentation materials.

Supports quarterly forecast, annual planning and long-range strategic planning activities.

Leads and establishes new processes to support

Builds robust analytical models, tools and processes and provides superior service to business partners/internal clients

Supports the commercial team regarding the development, deployment and execution of business strategy

Recommends and leads process improvements that support the team’s strategy and enable more efficient, effective collaboration.

Responsible for analyzing market potential for new opportunities. Analysis includes making recommendations to business development leadership.

Ability to succinctly present complex analyses to executives and adeptly respond to any ad-hoc questions.

Calculates and summarizes key business metrics for existing and new business opportunities and provides key context.

Performs other ad-hoc functions and analyses as needed. Limited Travel (Tradeshow, Market Visits, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Business or related field or a combination of education/training

MBA or other business-related master’s program preferred, but not required

Requires 2+ years of directly related experience supporting sales, marketing, commercial finance, business development and/or strategic planning functions

Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience with using databases and Salesforce.com a plus

Tableau, PowerBI and other certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma a plus
-
Gaming industry experience a plus

Requires excellent quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills

Must be well organized and detail-oriented within a fast-paced environment

High level of customer service skills with internal and external clients.

Requires strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills

Must be adaptable and have a continuous focus on process improvements

Strong analytical and complex financial modeling skills supported by a process-driven approach.

Confidence to work on complex projects and drive them to solution

Ability to effectively collaborate with and influence senior executives
