Summary and Responsibilities:
Research prospective stocks, monitor current portfolio holdings and recommend purchases and sales.
The primary responsibility of the Investment Analyst -Global Growth Equity is to identify and develop investment ideas and recommendations for inclusion in the portfolios. The team implements a meticulous fundamentally rooted research process. The individual will be required to prepare research templates and earnings models as a framework for presenting an investment thesis. The individual will also require strong communication skills (written and verbal)- there is frequent engagement with senior management (CEO, CFO) of companies and constant communication of findings and key conclusions with internal team members. Ongoing maintenance of earnings models is required on companies in the portfolio, documenting company and industry contact meetings, proactively updating team/colleagues on important news flow, buy/sell recommendations, and develop/maintain a “network” of company and industry contacts.
It is important the individual possesses a strong quantitative background and be able to handle a full workload with accuracy and promptness. The individual should have a minimum of 2 years of experience working as an investment management analyst or in a related role.
Minimum of 2-4 years of proven experience performing broad-based investment fundamental “bottom-up” company analysis
Ability to support senior teammates in fundamental research
Highly proficient in technologies Bloomberg, Excel, Adobe
Experienced at building financial models
Highly motivated, intelligent self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a member of the research team with minimal direction.
Able to resolve priorities, plan, organize, and follow-through on assignments while providing consistent top quality output.
Adeptly process significant amounts of data and information and think critically to resolve’s meaningful through the lens of the investment philosophy
Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Forward-thinking, logical, driven, and highly ethical partnered with creativity, intellectual curiosity, and financial analysis skills.
Undergraduate degree in economics, business, or international finance (or comparable programs) required; related advanced degree (MBA) and/or CFA preferred.
