- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3+ years of finance experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This role will partner closely with a broad range of Finance and business leaders in Operations, Engineering, and Technology. This role will be involved in Start UP Capital Authorization Requests that involves DCF financial model work and advanced excel skills.

- Obtain model input variables from Pre-Construction and Design teams
- Develop DCF models to improve and determine the viability of the investment
- Provide narrative for capital approvals with thorough financial analysis of cost savings for construction projections
- Maintain database for start up projects
- Works with a variety of data sources. Identifies incomplete or inaccurate data, identifies root causes of data issues, escalates discrepancies, fixes data where possible or partners to deliver a solution.
- Uses active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjusts style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly.
- Identifies and implements solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes.

- MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate) + relevant experience
- Highly analytical, detail oriented and trustworthy business sense; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to an end result
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
