I was recently provided with three ways to actively mange long term stress:
- Think about 1 – 2 things that bring you joy, and do at least one of them each day.
- Find 1 – 2 people who make you feel better after you talk to them, and talk to them on a regular basis (even if it means reaching out to people you haven’t heard from in a while).
- It’s okay to say no. This is a hard one, but is essential to our well-being.
